Simple Instructions:

Starting at bottom, cover bottom 6″ of trunk two or three times to insure adequate protection from mowers and trimmers.
Wrap balance of trunk being sure to overlap material about 1/2″.
Stop wrapping where branches fork, then pull end through the last layer around the tree.
